4. Shoei NXR2

The Shoei NXR2 was one of the first helmets equipped with the ECE 22.06 homologation. It’s not a pure circuit helmet if you compare the shape, aerodynamics, and angle of the visor with the other helmets in this list. But don’t be deceived, it’s still a top helmet that meets all the requirements for the circuit. There are 3 helmet shells and the helmet has a large air outlet to facilitate smoother airflow, and the adjustable ventilation openings have two positions. At the bottom of the helmet, you’ll find an additional recess in the helmet shell, to save weight and better protect your collarbone. The visor is equipped with mini spoilers that should better guide the wind over your helmet for optimal aerodynamics and improved stability at high speed. Unfortunately, the NXR2 does not come with an extra tinted visor, but it does come with a Pinlock Evo lens.

The RPHA-12 is the respective successor of the universally loved RPHA-11, this evolution comes as a result of the ECE 22.06 homologation. Apart from a few subtle adjustments, the look of the helmet has largely remained the same. That means that the RPHA-12 will certainly not disappoint you.
